Alma 7:10-12

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

"I" for Intelligence

Gospel Art Book Boy Jesus in the Temple

We will do this activity at the local library aka heaven on earth.

Scripture: Luke 2:40-52 The story of Jesus teaching in the temple.

Question: How do we increase in wisdom?

Scripture: D&C 93:36 "The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth."

Activity: Blissfully roam around the library and gather a few books. Sit down at a table (in the children's section for us) and open up your books. Read. Look at pictures. Share and learn. Enjoy knowledge and grow in intelligence!! Hold up a copy of the scriptures to end with. What was Christ doing in the temple? Teaching His Father's word. So of all things we should study, what is most important? Our scriptures!!
